A Living Sculpture

20 November 2009 - 14 March 2010

The Musée Bourdelle presented an ambitious exhibition dedicated to Isadora Duncan, who inspired Antoine Bourdelle (1861-1929), as dozens of drawings kept at the museum demonstrate.

This was the first major event dedicated to this pioneering figure in the world of dance, and covered the years Isadora spent in France. The exhibition was divided into five parts, recreating the intellectual and artistic context of an era, and celebrating the dancer.
