Private Events

The Bourdelle Museum occupies the studios and gardens where sculptor Antoine Bourdelle (1861–1929) once lived and worked. The museum has been expanded several times, by Henri Gautruche in 1961 and by Christian de Portzamparc in 1992.

Our spaces

Plaster Hall – 500 m² (including sculptures)

Up to 100 people for a seated dinner or conference

Up to 200 people for a standing cocktail reception (indoors)

Up to 300 people for a standing cocktail reception (garden and covered gallery included)
 

Covered gallery surrounding the garden – 180 m²

Up to 140 people for a standing cocktail reception.

Up to 40 people for an outdoor dinner
 

Portzamparc wing – 500 m² (availability depending on temporary exhibitions)

Up to 200 people for a standing cocktail reception.

Up to 100 people for a seated dinner.

Fashion shows can be organized under certain conditions.

Conditions 

Hours and availability
Availability varies by space. Plaster Hall, gardens, and indoor gallery are available for private events Tuesday to Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. and all day Monday.

Access to all collections and the current temporary exhibition (with or without a guide).

The reception hall can be arranged to suit your event.

Delivery and set-up schedules will be arranged based on the specific requirements of your event.

Catering
The choice of caterer is left to the discretion of the organizer.
A 60 m² space is reserved for the kitchen with a water supply and a 32 A power outlet.

Specifications
The project must comply with the Paris Musées specifications and the Bourdelle Museum's safety specifications.

Restrictions on use
We do not make our spaces available to private individuals.

Smoking is prohibited in the museum rooms and gardens.

Touching the artworks is strictly prohibited; all installations must be at a safe distance of at least 1m from the works.

Costs

The costs of renting museum spaces vary depending on their use, duration, logistics, and additional expenses.

Estimate available upon request.

Other expenses
The organizer must take out civil liability insurance.
The museum does not have any additional equipment: additional lighting, sound systems, or video transmission must be provided by the customer.
