Acquire an original work by Emile Antoine Bourdelle

As Rhodia Dufet Bourdelle's legatee and holder of the moral rights in Émile Antoine Bourdelle’s works, the City of Paris is authorised to reproduce and sell up to 10 original copies of his works. This limit was set by the artist himself. The bronzes offered for sale are separate from the inalienable works held in the museum's collections; at least one copy of each model is systematically included in the institution's inventory.

When you purchase an original bronze from the Musée Bourdelle, you acquire an authentic work of indisputable provenance from the only institution responsible for preserving the artistic legacy of Émile Antoine Bourdelle.

Purchasing an original bronze from the Musée Bourdelle is also a way of helping to maintain and enhance the museum. Under the terms of Rhodia Dufet Bourdelle's bequest in 2002, these bronzes may “be sold for the exclusive benefit of the Musée Bourdelle in Paris, with any monies received to be used for its upkeep and renovation”.

The Musée Bourdelle team will be delighted to discuss your requirements and preferences (including size), to help you find the perfect bronze.
