French photographer Eric Emo, familiar with the world of Antoine Bourdelle, offers a personal interpretation of the artist's sculpture, through the reverse and the intimate, with around forty colour prints from his most recent work (2011).

As close as possible to the material of the works, the public will rediscover the strength and sensitivity of Bourdelle's bronzes and plasters, chosen by the artist and transfigured by photography. Stigmata of the bronze casting process, persistent incandescence of bare metal, negative reliefs, insider inscriptions on moulds in the studio - these are all testimonies to the process of creating sculpture that are rarely seen and have exerted a real fascination on the artist.
